Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of My IDP – Becoming a Person After God’s Heart (“My IDP,” the “Service”), operated by Jesse Ko, an individual service provider based in Texas, United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing My IDP, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of My IDP

My IDP is a Christian personal growth and reflection tool designed to help users:

• reflect on their life journey,
• recognize patterns and areas for growth,
• create intentional growth plans,
• review growth over time,
• and optionally share selected information with mentors or other trusted people.

My IDP is intended to support personal and spiritual reflection. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

AI-assisted reflections are also not intended to represent God’s voice, determine God’s will, or make authoritative statements about a user’s spiritual maturity, calling, or worth.

2. Eligibility and Account

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information,
• protecting your login credentials,
• and activity conducted through your account.

You may not use My IDP for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the reflections, plans, journal entries, goals, and other original content you enter into My IDP.

You grant us only the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, store, process, display, back up, and otherwise provide My IDP to you.

Your IDP records are private by default. Content is shared with another person only when you intentionally use a sharing feature and select what you wish to share.

4. AI-Assisted Reflection

My IDP may provide optional AI-assisted reflection features.

When you choose to generate an AI reflection, selected portions of your eligible My IDP records may be processed to generate observations, reflection prompts, and questions.

AI-generated content:

• may be incomplete or inaccurate,
• is provided for reflection rather than authoritative guidance,
• does not declare God’s will or calling,
• does not determine spiritual maturity,
• and should not be treated as professional advice.

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use AI-generated content.

5. Plans and Access

My IDP may offer plans including:

• Free Preview
• Lifetime Basic
• Growth Membership
• promotional or complimentary access

Lifetime Basic

Lifetime Basic is a one-time purchase that provides continued access to the features included in that plan, subject to these Terms and the continued availability of the Service.

Growth Membership

Growth Membership is a recurring monthly or annual subscription.

While an eligible Growth Membership is active, it may include access to both Basic-level and Growth Membership features.

Purchasing Growth Membership does not create permanent Lifetime Basic ownership unless Lifetime Basic is purchased separately.

If Growth Membership ends, membership-only functionality may become unavailable. Existing personal records will not ordinarily be deleted solely because a subscription expires or is cancelled.

6. Payments and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Prices, billing frequency, renewal information, and applicable charges are displayed before purchase.

7. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Growth Membership subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

You may cancel a subscription through the available billing management tools.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or payment terms, cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which further renewal charges stop.

Cancellation does not automatically delete your My IDP records.

8. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Eligible paid purchases are covered by our 30-Day Refund Policy.

This policy provides additional contractual rights and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

9. Community and Sharing

My IDP may allow you to connect with another user and selectively share parts of your IDP.

Nothing is automatically shared.

You control:

• whom you connect with,
• what you share,
• and when you revoke access.

Recipients may be able to provide comments, questions, encouragement, or suggestions, but they do not receive ownership of or editing rights to your original IDP records.

Please exercise care when sharing personal or sensitive information.

10. Intellectual Property

The My IDP software, branding, original instructional content, frameworks, questions, designs, and materials provided by us are owned by or licensed to Jesse Ko unless otherwise stated.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use My IDP for its intended purposes.

You may not reproduce, resell, commercially distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit protected My IDP materials except as permitted by applicable law or with written permission.

11. Availability and Changes

We may modify or improve My IDP over time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be replaced, or be discontinued when reasonably necessary.

Material changes affecting paid access will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

12. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

• fraud,
• unlawful activity,
• abuse,
• security threats,
• material violation of these Terms,
• or risks to other users or the Service.

You may stop using My IDP at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, My IDP is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee particular spiritual, personal, professional, or other outcomes from using the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jesse Ko will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of My IDP.

Nothing in this section limits liability where limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

Paddle transactions may also be subject to Paddle’s applicable buyer terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The “Last Updated” date will identify the most recent version. Material changes may be communicated through the Service when appropriate.
