Privacy Policy

Jesse Ko (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the personal and reflective nature of information entered into My IDP – Becoming a Person After God’s Heart.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we process, why we process it, how information may be shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information You Provide

Depending on how you use My IDP, you may provide:

• name and display name,
• email address,
• profile and language preferences,
• Life Highlights,
• Gratitude entries,
• Life Chart information,
• Self-Reflection responses,
• Focus Areas,
• Wishlist entries,
• Growth Plans,
• Monthly, First-Half and Year-End reflections,
• Growth Insights,
• sharing selections,
• comments or other Community interactions,
• and information submitted when contacting support.

Because My IDP is a Christian growth and reflection application, information you voluntarily enter may include personal beliefs, spiritual reflections, relationships, goals, experiences, or other sensitive personal material.

You decide what to enter.

2. Technical and Account Information

We may process limited technical and service information needed to operate and protect My IDP, including:

• authentication information,
• account identifiers,
• device and browser information,
• security events,
• error and diagnostic logs,
• feature usage information,
• plan and entitlement status,
• and transaction-related identifiers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

• create and maintain accounts,
• save and display your IDP records,
• provide requested features,
• maintain Dashboard and progress information,
• generate factual Growth Insights,
• provide optional AI-assisted reflection,
• operate user-controlled sharing,
• manage plans and access,
• process support requests,
• prevent fraud and abuse,
• maintain security,
• diagnose errors,
• and improve reliability and usability.

4. AI-Assisted Reflection

AI-assisted reflection is optional.

We do not generate a new AI reflection simply because you open the Growth Insights page.

When you intentionally request an AI reflection, eligible portions of your records may be submitted to an AI service provider for processing.

The application is designed to exclude certain information from AI analysis, including categories intentionally excluded by the My IDP privacy design.

AI-generated reflections may be stored with your account so that the same reflection does not need to be regenerated unnecessarily.

5. Private by Default

Your My IDP content is private by default.

We do not automatically share your IDP records with:

• mentors,
• churches,
• employers,
• Community members,
• or other My IDP users.

When you use sharing features, only information you intentionally select for sharing should be made available to the selected recipient.

You may revoke sharing according to the controls provided by the Service.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

We do not store your full payment-card details in My IDP.

Paddle processes payment, tax, billing, subscription, refund, and transaction-related information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

7. Service Providers

We may rely on third-party service providers for functions such as:

• cloud hosting,
• database services,
• authentication,
• application infrastructure,
• payment processing,
• email or communications if enabled,
• AI processing,
• security,
• and technical diagnostics.

These providers may process information where necessary to perform services for My IDP.

8. Data Retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Service,
• maintain user records,
• comply with legal obligations,
• resolve disputes,
• prevent fraud,
• and maintain security.

Cancelling a paid membership or moving to a different plan does not automatically delete your existing IDP records.

Some billing, security, or audit records may need to be retained even after other data is deleted.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law and available functionality, you may have rights to:

• review information associated with your account,
• correct information,
• edit or delete IDP entries,
• stop sharing,
• cancel subscriptions,
• request account deletion,
• request access to personal information,
• or request correction or deletion of eligible personal information.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect My IDP information.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Sensitive Information and Sharing

Personal reflection records can contain highly sensitive information.

Please carefully consider what you enter and what you choose to share with another person.

My IDP is designed around the principle:

Private by default. Shared by choice.

12. Children

My IDP is not intended for use by children who cannot legally consent to use an online service in their jurisdiction without authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

13. International Users

My IDP may be used from different countries, and service providers may process information in jurisdictions other than your own.

Where applicable law gives you mandatory privacy rights, those rights are not waived by this Policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes or legal requirements evolve.

The current version will display its effective or “Last Updated” date.
